BRIEF

This 1980’s house is being full renovated with a fantastic vaulted ceiling extension being built. Outside we will create a modern garden room where a poorly placed garage once soot. A new car port will be built nearer the driveway. From start to finish the interior project should take 4 months.

START OF PROJECT

  • This 1980's house is under going a full renovation and the exterior will be finished in vertical larch wood cladding
  • We are building a large rear extension with vaulted ceiling
  • In the roof will be electric velux windows, and large sliding doors onto the garden
  • Walls have been removed and sliding doors and windows will be fitted
  • Steels are in place for the large sliding doors
  • The new ikea kitchen will be fitted with a large storage wall here. The hallway will be accessed by a pocket door.
  • We knocked out the downstairs loo to create a better layout
  • All upstairs rooms are being renovated throughout
  • Today we have a team of plasterers in place to help this project be finished within the homeowners timeframe
  • In all bathrooms we created a panelled wall to house pipes and cisterns for a modern finish

FINISHED PROJECT

  • A tiled floor in the kitchen joining the herringbone solid oak floor in the dining room and hallway
  • A large sliding window that opens both ends
  • Large pan drawers for a clutter free kitchen
  • Lots of swedish style design touches throughout
  • These bifold doors also open both way for maximum versatility
  • The solid oak herringbone floor runs through the entire downstairs
  • In the new extension are two amazing pendant lights to show off the space
  • Light 'layering' is an important aspect of design: here we have wall lights, pendant lights, and roof windows.
  • Dimmable wall lights give a versatile soft glow whilst highlighting the vaulted ceiling
  • Three sets of sliding doors open both spaces onto the garden and new decking area
  • One of newly refurbished bathrooms. The same tiles as the kitchen have been used but vertically. Clever!
  • Bathroom units all by Lusso stone. Mirror by Ikea.
