Interior refurb // Cunliffe Close, West Wittering

OVERVIEW

We are undertaking a full interior renovation of this end of terrace house in the heart of West Wittering. We are not changing the layout, however by cutting through to the kitchen it will dramatically increase the visual space and light in this property.

Below is our initial brief:

  • cut a larger opening to kitchen
  • supply and fit new kitchen
  • lay oak flooring through on ground floor
  • replace skirting and architraves throughout
  • refit both bathrooms
  • decorate all interior rooms
  • restore woodwork on back door
  • repaint garage wall (visible from lounge)

START OF PROJECT

  • The garage wall is visible from the lounge and we will repaint/smarten it up at the end of the project
  • Today the skirting is being removed and repairs are being made to the parquet floor before we fit a new oak floor throughout

NEAR COMPLETION

  • The front room has a new thick wood laminate flooring.
  • The fireplace looks great with it's new coat of pain.
  • New skirting, and freshly painted walls/ceilings make such a big difference
  • The open window through to the kitchen lets in light but also connects the two rooms
  • The kitchen hatch has just had a beautiful piece of wood installed
  • Fresh paintwork throughout

  • Lots of light now fills the kitchen from the new hatch
  • A butler style sink sits under the stone worktop
  • Antique brass handles on the drawers.

  • Antique brass lights are a great feature on the back wall of the kitchen
  • Antique brass sockets finish the look perfectly
  • Downstairs the WC has had a complete overhaul and the panelling and wall hung basin give the illusion of more space
  • Upstairs the family bathroom is now very modern and the wall hung sink cupboard gives the illusion of more space
  • The rainfall fixed shower and handheld set are now a must have for all bathrooms
